Nat Faxon hails from Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from Hamilton College in upstate New York with a degree in Theater, Nat made his way to Los Angeles to pursue acting. He has been in the main company at the Groundlings since 2001. Nat has appeared in numerous films including the upcoming FREELOADERS as well as the new MGM comedy ZOOKEEPER where he plays Kevin James' brother. Nat costarred in the feature film LOWER LEARNING alongside Eva Longoria, Jason Biggs, Rob Corddry and Will Sasso. He has also appeared in such films as BEERFEST, WALK HARD, THE TV SET, ORANGE COUNTY, CLUB DREAD, and SLACKERS. Nat has also made his mark in the world of television. In 2009, Nat shot the CBS pilot "BIG D." He was a series regular on Fox's sitcom "HAPPY HOUR" as well as the WB's GROSSE POINTE and he appeared in the WB pilot IN MY OPINION Nat starred opposite Katherine Heigl and Alexandra Breckenridge in ABC's ROMY AND MICHELLE'S: BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE. Nat's other television credits include MAD MEN, PARTY DOWN, NCIS, REBA, THE WEST WING, A MINUTE WITH STAN HOOPER, SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, and recurring roles on JOEY and RENO 911. Nat and fellow Groundling Jim Rash have also had success in the world of writing. They first collaborated in 2005 as creators and co-executive producers on the ABC pilot, ADOPTED starring Christine Baranksi and Bernadette Peters. Since then, they have developed television pilots for NBC and ABC and written two features, THE WAY BACK and the screenplay adaptation, THE DESCENDANTS. The latter just finished shooting in Hawaii with Alexander Payne directing and George Clooney starring. They are currently working on another original screenplay as well as developing a show with HBO that they plan to write and star in.
