Jim is very proud to have been a member of the Groundlings Main Company from 2002 to 2016. Hopefully you caught him on the Groundling stage during those 14 years. If you didn’t, just know that he was everyone’s 3rd favorite. Jim has appeared in the film THE BOSS and on the television shows IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, GREY’S ANATOMY, MIKE TYSON MYSTERIES, BENCHED, CONAN, SUPER DAVE’S SPIKE TACULAR, WORST WEEK, THE MINOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF JACKIE WOODMAN, and JUST SHOOT ME! He was also a series regular on VH-1’s prank show, BSTV. In 2006, he played the role of “Vice Principal Panch” in the 1st National Tour of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTMAN COUNTY SPELLING BEE along side his wife, Michelle Noh. Jim has written for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE , THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW, and he was a staff writer for the TBS comedy BENCHED. Since becoming a Groundling Alum, Jim and Mitch Silpa have co-written and sold two comedy pilots to Warner Brothers Television. The first pilot, AMY’S BROTHER, was produced by Ben Falcone & Melissa McCarthy and made for Fox. In their free time, Jim and fellow Alum Stephanie Courtney devote themselves tirelessly to the cause of getting you to choose Progressive for all your insurance needs. Look, just buy it, okay? We’re not kidding around.
