Lory Tatoulian got her start at 10-years-old, impersonating Elvis at a retirement home in Reedley, CA where she grew up (in between romantic Fresno and Bakersfield). After graduating with a BA in theater she wrote and performed several shows including: Sitting Twisted -Talking Straight, Autosapiens and Pomegranate Whisky. She has also created and performed in seven different installments of The Big Bad Armo Show, which has played twice Off-Broadway and toured throughout California. She is a contributing writer for National Public Radio’s Multi-American blog and teaches theater to junior-high school students at a local public school. She was excited to receive a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and is even more excited to be here!
