TNMB: Mattress Bros

Thursday August 21st @ 10pm

Mac and Brayden Conklin have it made in the shade, what with their infirm father leaving his beloved mattress store and its army of loyal customers in their hands. That not rubbin’ your tummy? They also have tickets to see The Bloodhound Gang tomorrow night. We done? Yeah, we’re done. Oh, but they’ve also attracted the attention of Paula Spilito, an evil woman from Papa Conklin’s past. A woman who takes what she wants, and what she wants this fine summer’s night is to have the ONLY mattress store in Muscatine, Iowa. Today, Mac and Brayden are the Mattress Bros. Tomorrow they could just be two normal brothers without a mattress store. I’m going to stop right there because with stakes this high anyone with half a brain is already buying a ticket. ——————————————————————————-Mattress Bros. is multi-scene one-act play from notorious sketch group The Dust Bowl Kids (Heidi Gardner, Kiel Kennedy, Eliot Schwartz) and co-starring local comedy heroes Tom Blank, Jimmy Fowlie, Brad Gage, Eric Lombart, Katie O’Brien, Marques Ray, and Brian Santa Maria. Directed by Zeb Wells.  Mac and Brayden Conklin have it made in the shade, what with their infirm father leaving his beloved mattress store and its army of loyal customers in their hands.
