Kimberly is originally from Oklahoma, and though she does not miss “real weather,” she does miss “real queso.” She earned her BA in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, and after bouncing around doing theater and independent film, moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where she began training at the Groundlings Theater, culminating in an 18-month stint in the Sunday Company, where she wrote and performed in new sketch and improv shows weekly. Kimberly currently teaches improv at The Groundlings, and performs there as a guest with the cast of the Crazy Uncle Joe Show, the monthly all-Sunday Company alumni improv show, Bad Company, and in her own creation, SHARON MERKLE PRESENTS: LADIEZ LAFFIN’: A STAND-UP COMEDY GRADUATION SHOW.” Recent credits include: BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, GOOD GIRLS, both on NBC, VEEP on HBO, and ALEX, INC. on ABC. Currently, Kimberly can be seen in national ads for PROGRESSIVE, ROSS DRESS FOR LESS, or spending all her money at the West Hollywood Target.
