A Chicago native, Wendy Goldman has improvised her way through life and career. Her background as an actress in TV-film as well as stage led to an unexpected turn when she and fellow Groundling, Judy Toll, wrote a musical — so they could have really big parts and sing in front of a large group of people. A surprise hit and winner of multiple LA theatre awards, “Casual Sex,” caught the attention of Ivan Reitman (GHOSTBUSTERS), who hired the two to adapt their play into a film for Universal Studios. Now a veteran TV writer, she most recently was an Executive Producer on the critically-acclaimed MTV comedy, FAKING IT. In addition, Wendy teaches workshops using improv writing games to inspire creativity and consults with individual clients as a Writing Coach.
