OPENING NIGHT: THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL! is exactly that - a Broadway- style musical that is made up on the spot, based on audience suggestion,. Therefore, every night is the ‘Opening Night’ of a musical that has never been seen! Sadly, it is also the closing night, but closing night sounds so very final. Not even this cast can withstand the damage done by weekly wrap parties. Every show, whether a mindnumbing rock opera or a tap-dancing Phantom-filled fiesta, is a completely unique experience. Based in Hollywood, California, the Opening Night cast combines the improvisational styles of the iOWest (formerly the Improv Olympic) with the Broadway stylings of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Gilbert & Sullivan, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bob Fosse and Edith Head. Occasionally, they borrow the helicopter from Ms. Saigon. They usually give it back. Besides a regularly scheduled performance every Friday Night on the iOWest Mainstage, ON has performed at various festivals, comedy clubs, charity events and corporate road shows for over a decade! ABSOLUTELY NO LATE SEATING No Refunds or Exchanges16 and over only. If a show is SOLD OUT online, that means ALL tickets have been issued. You may try your luck at the door. All shows have a first come first serve cancellation line outside. No prior waitlist will be kept. Management reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone who appears younger than 16 years of age with no ticket refund or exchange.
